Dear Mr Hunter since you say you are an expert of many years at USGS, can you tell me what you have understood about the intraday work and explain with your expert method why I should not persist? if you cannot then I take your comments in here are no more than slander against any new ideas and you will not be welcome.
I don't claim to be an expert but I've created and ran an evaluation program for the USGS for a couple of years and continued running one as a hobby after I retired.
The essence of science is critical review. New ideas are subjected to the most rigorous examination and that's what I'm doing for you.. Far from slander, I'm doing it with and for you. I could post my results on another website instead but I'd rather post it here so you can benefit from the information.
As if you are the only scientist with the appropriate knowledge. Your first post above without ANY knowledge of how I do intraday shows how little you know simply because you concluded unscientifically.Worst for me it shows that you have no respect for new ideas and your intensions are hardly honorable.
Since I am researching the intraday in my opinion it is promising. You have seen in here no more than 4 to 5 intraday posts from me which I posted just for fun to show some people there is more to come and on that basis you suggested... This line should be stopped and you are amazed this has not been stopped. Please explain scientifically why this is a dead end. Since I know you CANNOT, and everybody understands this I suggest you have a problem with new ideas. I protect new ideas like babies. They need nappy changing and food and all sorts. You don't let the older child you feels threatened from the baby that will loose out from motherly attention etc to hurt the baby. Some people react like older children in the presence of new babies.
Those "inversions" are more commonly called "misses".
